Meet the 2017 KMP Senior Model Crew

This extraordinary group of young women are accomplished, driven and incredibly involved in their communities. Yes, they are ALL incredibly beautiful BUT that’s just an added bonus. The beauty underneath their skin is what truly set them apart. And that’s exactly what won my heart over and also the hearts of the KMP 10 women review panel. These girls have HUGE bucket list dreams, plans to make those dreams happen and hearts so big that it made us squeal with joy. Their application responses had us crying, laughing and hollering out loud with excitement. They are just THAT amazing. And it is a total honor and blessing to be a part of their upcoming Senior year and be able to shower them with love and some pretty sweet experiences.

The Lilly Pulitzer Inspired Garden Party Shoot was an absolute dream. Literally. And it would not have been possible without the help, love and talents of some truly incredible women. Ashley Gilbird, of Lovebirds Events, took my vision board and absolutely nailed every aspect of the styling and decor. From the custom made DIY ombre balloon backdrop, to the table settings and large balloons….she brought my dream to life. And she nailed it. Sybil Skinner, of Yeopim Flowers, provided the absolutely stunning flower arrangements, flower patch and opened her home to my girls and their families. Her attention to detail, love for her craft and sweetness is one of the reasons she will always have my wholehearted recommendation as THE top Florist around. The girls hair was done by Alex James of True Images Salon. Alex has the crazy amazing ability to nail every hair style I ask for. She is a master with knowing how to work with the outside elements of heat and uses the opportunity to teach the girls tricks of how to accomplish stellar hairstyles at home. I absolutely adore her. The professional makeup was done by my exclusive MUA, Crystal Colson, of Merle Norman Cosmetics in Elizabeth City, NC. I’ve been blessed to have this lovely woman work by my side since day one and I couldn’t ask for a better role model to surround my girls with. She takes pride in getting to know each one of my Seniors, loves on them and SLAYS makeup like it ain’t nobody’s business. And lastly HUGE thanks to Lacey, of Sisters Boutique in Manteo, for providing the absolute perfect bright and cheerful clothing. Her store is the perfect mix of styles, one of kind pieces and beauties and I encourage you to stop by, meet her and twirl around in her awesome clothing. To these women, I tip my hat and thank you from the bottom of my heart.
