About every couple of months, I do a session that is completely for me. I pick the model, location, clothes and create the vision that’s been bouncing around in my head. For a while now, I’ve wanted to do a shoot that showcased the connection between a girl and her horse. I knew I wanted a girl with long flowing blonde hair that rode horses and Lindsey fit that description perfectly. Lindsey and Jessie (the gorgeous horse) have been a team for two years now competing in huntseat and jump .  I learned that photographing a horse is a lot like photographing toddlers, they cycle between being super cute and charming to misbehaving and wanting to do their own thing every other minute. But, Jessie, was awesome and a total ham! He would love all up on Lindsey at just the right moments and stare right at me, it was like he knew exactly what I wanted him to do. The stables where Lindsey practices and rides had the MOST perfect backdrop of romance and glorious light. It all came together perfectly and below are some of my favorites from the session…..
