Meet my oldest daughter, Sophia, and my Mom, who my children affectionately call Lovey. 

This session was done this past spring in Kill Devil Hills, NC in celebration of Sophia’s 11th Birthday and Lovey’s 54th Birthday.

It was my opportunity to spoil these two AMAZING people I love more than anything and showcase their beauty and connection. They both had professional hair and makeup done by dream team (Alex James at True Images Salon and Crystal Colson at Merle Norman). Sophia picked the Rocker Chic look for her Styled part of their session. It was a total blast pulling together pieces to make this outfit complete. She truly embraced the rocker look with ease as her britches were too tight and she was showing her attitude because of it 😉 We learned a lesson to try things on when things arrive in the mail instead of the day of the session because she had to rock them anyway and ROCK she did. And if you are noticing how ridiculously beautiful my mom’s skin is, she uses Nerium Night and Day Cream religiously and drives a Lexus because of this amazing company. Sharing this session with you guys and looking back at these beautiful images… is such a reminder of how important it is to photograph the people you love the most. Whether it be with your cell phone, a point and shoot or hiring a photographer….Get photos of the people you love the most and celebrate them. Photographs are such a blessing.
