Meet Emma Kate. C/O 2016.

Emma Kate has southern charm, incredible beauty and the sweetest heart. AND she’s also incredibly stylish and 100% comfortable in front of the camera (a dream to photograph). This young woman wanted to honor her southern roots by having her senior session on her grandma’s beautiful farm. They invited me in, poured me sweet tea and let me explore the 100 plus year old farm house. Even though grandma said there wasn’t anything worth photographing, I ventured upstairs anyway. Up those stairs was THE MOST GLORIOUS light filled window, white soft curtains and a wall with peeling paint. JACKPOT! Thankfully, grandma is a super organized woman, so it only took a few minutes to move things to the other side of the room. It was a 90 degree August day and the AC wasn’t turned on up there but the shots were OH.SO.WORTH.IT. The rest of Emma Kate’s shoot was absolutely spectacular, filled with golden light and a sweet kitty cat named Violet even made a few appearances. It was a true honor and pleasure to photograph this sweet girl 🙂
