Meet my crazy crew of kiddos. Sophia, Stella and Hudson.

It was 8 am and I had been awake in bed since 6 listening to the ocean waves break against the shore. I literally couldn’t take it any longer…..so I started hollering for everyone to get up and put on their bathing suits. These kids do not wake up easily or gracefully at all but for the ocean….they will do just about anything. Without breakfast, we walked the 30 or so steps from our little seaside camper to beach road and sunk our toes in the sand. Where we are in Kitty Hawk, NC is usually pretty narrow most of the time but this particular morning, it was wide with gorgeous pools of ocean water as far as you could see. This little session with my kiddos was totally spontaneous ….and these images….they show who they are right now, what they love, and what I love the most about them. 

P.S. All of these images were shot with the Sigma Art 35mm lens and were shot in full sun (with the sun directly shining onto their precious faces). Enjoy my favs below…
