Meet Newbern. c/o 2017 and student at the Forman School in Litchfield, CT. 

Just like her awesome name…She is 100% unique. And good gracious, I love her for it. She’s fearless when it comes to fashion, marches to the beat of her own beautiful heart and goes after her dreams with open arms and a killer smile. Newbern and her beautiful mom, Natalie, have been planning and pulling together the beautiful outfits, jewelry and inspiration for this “Moroccan Gypsy” Extended Senior Shoot for months. And it was INCREDIBLE. The stuff dream shoots are made of. 

Being given full creative control to shoot this session whatever way the mood moved me….was priceless and I will forever be grateful for their trust. The entire first part of Newbern’s session was shot in full sun (with the sun beating down directly onto her face) for a more editorial look. With each clothing change, we used the light in a different way to match the mood and feel of her looks. Newbern absolutely slayed her session and I am truly in love with the outcome.
