Gosh…I just really love the Parnell family! Mom, Kelly of Photos by Kelly, is one of my photography besties and has been a constant source of support through my photography journey. This session sticks out in my mind for a ton of different reasons…..1. The location (the most glorious farm) smack dab out in the middle of nowhere……2. Because anytime I shoot a session of them, they truly give me the warm and fuzzies (they are THAT sweet of a family to each other)…..3. Old window panes and a HUGE old tree (enough said)……and 4. I got SO excited over a shot that I tripped over my camera bag, screamed like a little girl,  yanked my camera off my neck mid fall and recovered like a pro in the most classic TUCK and ROLL move. Graceful I am not. Somewhere in the midst of the fall, I dislodged one of my diamond earrings and didn’t realize it was missing until later that night. Heartbroken and two hours away, I called Kelly and they went back out to the spot and searched with flashlights (gah…I love them). I went back out there in the daylight and searched but never did find it. Even though I lost a diamond…. I still big puffy heart love these pictures. Here are a few of my favs……

 

 

This year…..Kelly and I will be hosting “Make it Click:Photography Shootouts” for photographers. We are SO incredibly excited to be able to share our love of photography with other photographers! It’s going to be an amazing year!
