Meet The Colson Family. Mom, Crystal, is the fabulous makeup artist at Merle Norman of Elizabeth City. She is my GO TO girl for professional makeup for all of my high school seniors and I recommend her to everybody! Their family session has been in the plans for quite some time and I’m so thankful we were able to nail down a day and make it happen! We met up down in Kitty Hawk, NC and hit up all of my favorite spots! I seriously believe that we got one of the last gorgeous beach days of the season for this session (November is hit of miss for warm beach sessions). At the very end of our session, the MOST glorious light came out and Crystal said “OH my word….that light” (you can tell she has that true artist’s eye to be able to know good light when she sees it)….so they hopped in it and we stole the last few rays of light. Gahhhh… that shot is the very last one shown below. It makes me SWOON. Enjoy my favs from their session below…..
