Meet The Judd Family from New York. 

I had the privilege of meeting this sweet and crazy family last summer when they were vacationing in South Nags Head, NC. We had a blast together and kept in touch over the winter months through Facebook. So when mom, Heather, said she wanted to do another session this summer….I literally made a spot for them on the calendar that was already full because I just HAD to see this family again! The day of their session (well pretty much their ENTIRE vacation week) was a bust. Forecasted thunderstorms, dreary overcast days and rain. Heather and I were SO bummed. But you see, their session was TRULY meant to be because 5 minutes before their scheduled session (keep in mind we had already cancelled it) there was a break in the weather. I messaged and begged them to jump in the car and haul booty down the beach….and that’s exactly what they did. In record time, they arrived at the Kitty Hawk Pier. We walked out onto the beach and my jaw literally dropped. I have never seen as many people on the beach as I did in that moment. But we rolled with it, had a blast and captured the true essence of Heather and Luke’s awesome family. I just adore their boys.
