Anytime I get the opportunity to photograph another photographers family….I secretly jump for joy and do a happy dance. Why??? Because I know that I’ll be able to have full creative control and just do my thing. There is a certain trust and understanding that we have for one another AND we totally get the fact that we just really want to be in the picture too…. So when Angie of Angie Whitney Photography contacted me, I was beyond excited. PLUS, her kids are like mini super models AND always dressed to a T. No lie. Our session was a complete wash out…complete with 30 degree weather and torrential downpours. We had originally planned to do the session outside but quickly had to move into last resort mode (which happened to be THE sweetest little ice cream shop down the road). This little lifestyle session was just pure magic. THESE are the sessions that capture families the way they are….and I just love it. Since we had to improvise with the inside session, I met up with them the next morning at my favorite spot to finish up the session. Here are my favs from their session…..
