Kelly and I are SO excited to introduce you to one of our fabulous Make it Click:Photography Shootout sponsors for the July 25th Lake Gaston, NC shootout. We are absolutely head over heels in love with The Camera Scarf and just as much in love with the creative genius, Alison, behind The Camera Scarf. We have no doubt that you will fall in love with them too 🙂

Make it Click: Photography Shootout is unlike most shootouts. Make it Click is 6 hours long in duration…..with 2 hours dedicated classroom time and the remaining 4 dedicated to shooting.  When you attend our shootout, you will get to photograph 4 separate genres! Seriously…..FOUR! You will get the opportunity to experience and photograph a GLAM senior session, a “stylized” child session, a lifestyle toddler session (with family) and a couples session. Everything you photograph, you can use in your portfolio, for advertising purposes and on your website/blog.

So, What makes these camera straps so freakin’ cool?

1. You can wear them a bajillion different ways (no more sore neck/shoulders for you)

2. It is extremely comfortable!

3. Um…hello. It’s seriously like wearing art around your neck and we LOVE that!

4. Can we say SUPER affordable? They are $22.95….. I’ll take one in EVERY color. Yes, please!

Totally not planned that the scarf/strap matches Heather tattoo almost perfect (see the above image)!

Here’s Heather’s review of The Camera Scarf:

“I typically use a wrist strap when I shoot because I really dislike the feeling of camera straps around my neck, but I could not get over just how incredibly comfortable the camera scarf was!! I must have commented on that a hundred times while wearing it! Not only was it comfortable, but the quality was impeccable and the versatility made it super fun to play around with!! The camera scarf is such a classy & functional way to accessorize!”

I really wanted to know how The Camera Scarf came about and this is what Alison had to say…….

“Camera Scarf is pretty much my baby…last year for my birthday a couple of my awesome friends gave me an amazing camera.  I was so excited I wanted to take it everywhere but the camera straps out there were so ugly and boring.  So I decided to make my own…and thus “Camera Scarf” was born!  I made one for myself and everyone loved it, people started asking me where they could get one.  So with my family, friends and an unbelievable husbands support…I opened my ETSY store.”

What makes Alison so freakin’ cool?

This chick is passionate about people and you can FEEL it through emails. Crazy, huh? She is a California girl who has lived in Australia, loves eating fried pickles and goes scuba diving for fun!

See how Heather is wearing The Camera Scarf (pictured above)? This is one of my FAVORITE ways to wear it!

Wear the Camera Scarf over your shoulder, messenger-bag style, like a backpack, like a scarf…there are so many ways!

If you are doing a lot of walking around/site seeing or are toting a baby around then this is THE BEST way to wear your Camera Scarf (picture below)….
