Eno River State Park is the perfect location for Durham, NC Engagement photography. The woods with the rocky river running through it is absolutely beautiful for hiking, swimming and beautiful portrait sessions. There were actually quite a few people out enjoying the location but you would have never guessed that from looking Sam and Caitlin’s gallery.
These two brought along their amazing pups to be a part of their engagement session. Wiley sported a tiara like the queen she is and Whiskey rocked the tie. Scroll down a few pictures to see these sweeties stealing the show and all the attention.
Sam and Caitlin are getting married in January of 2022 and I cannot wait for their Separk Mansion wedding in Gastonia, NC! If you’ve never heard of this beautiful venue, you definitely need to click on over and view it. The black and white floors, gorgeous windows, breathtaking staircase and beautiful grounds are going to be magical for their wedding day!
Caitlin was a bridesmaid in my Sister in Law, Savannah’s, wedding this past April. She was a gorgeous bridesmaid and I adored her fun spirit on the dance floor! It made me even more excited to have the honor of photographing her Gastonia, NC Wedding! Referrals from friends and family is what sustains my business. I’m very grateful!
This ring shot with Whiskey is by far the most EPIC ring shot with a dog I’ve ever pulled off. It’s most definitely not a shot that I would attempt with just any dog but Sam and Caitlin both assured me of Whiskey’s calm spirit and his ability to stay still and follow commands. Nevertheless, before I placed this big and beautiful ring on the tip of his nose, I said a prayer. Whiskey stayed perfectly still and the results, well, you see it. (Disclaimer: I do not recommend trying this shot with a regular dog.)
Eno River Park had several cool aspects to it. Not only could you climb up on the rocks but there were portions where you could walk right on in. These shallow spots allowed the dogs to cool off, play around and we were able to grab some awesome shots in the process.
This was such a fun session in a location that I don’t get the opportunity to photograph very often. As far as Durham, NC Engagement photos go, thanks to Whiskey and Wiley, I think we captured the most adorable ones possible. And thanks to the sweet love between Sam and Caitlin, we captured the most genuine ones! If this is your kinda style and you just got engaged, I would love to talk to you all about it! Here are some questions I think you should ask before hiring a wedding photographer. Let’s talk and if we hit it off, we can make it official!
